Uhud Mountain (جبل Ø£Øد) (Mad_11)

Uhud Mountain, located north of Madinah, is one of the most significant sites in Islamic history. It was the scene of the famous Battle of Uhud in the third year of Hijrah, where many noble Companions (r.a) were martyred, including Sayyid al-Shuhada, Hamzah ibn Abdul Muttalib (r.a.). The Prophet Muhammad ((ï·º) deeply loved this mountain, describing it as a mountain from Paradise and saying, "Uhud is a mountain that loves us, and we love it." Sayyidah Aisha (r.a.) advised that when visiting Jabal Uhud, one should eat or drink something there; and if nothing is found, even eating a leaf from its trees is recommended.
