Masjid al-Kou مسجد الكوع (Taf_04)
<p>Masjid al-Kou (meaning "the Masjid of the Elbow") marks the place where the Prophet Muhammad <span dir="RTL">ï·º</span> stayed for 21 days during his mission to Taif. Despite his efforts, his message was rejected. It is said that the mark of his <span dir="RTL">ï·º</span> elbow appeared as he rested here.A small masjid was later built on this blessed site. For centuries, visitors pointed to a rock in the courtyard, and Taimur Pasha recorded seeing the faint imprint.</p>
