Beir al-Ruma (بئر عثمان بن عÙان) (Mad_30)
<p>Beir al-Ruma, located in a date palm orchard, was initially owned by a Jew who sold its water. The Prophet Muhammad (<span dir="RTL">ï·º</span>) said, "Whoever buys it and dedicates it to the Muslims, for each bucket of water drawn, he will be rewarded in Paradise." Uthman ibn Affan (r.a.) purchased half for 12,000 dirhams and dedicated it to Muslims, later buying the remaining half. It remains a waqf property, with rewards promised for every bucket of water drawn.</p>
